George Peat

George Peat has over 20 years of experience in the petrochemical industry and is a gas engineering veteran with international experience. Currently, he is an entrepreneur and investor who specializes in oil & gas companies, technology and real estate. Mr. Peat has also held various engineering positions related to controls and automation in the oil & gas industry. At ABB he was responsible for the design, engineering and sales of advanced control and optimization technologies in the oil & gas, refining, and petrochemical industries in the US, Japan, Korea, USSR, and Europe. At Shell Canada, he oversaw the design and specification of control and optimization technologies for a major ($15 billion) oilsands company in the preliminary stages of development.

Mr. Peat also started a software services company serving various E&P, drilling companies. His clients included Exxon and AO Smith.  The company was sold to employees.
